Otim Thomas

From Gulu (Acholi sub-region), Northern Uganda

I was born in captivity of the Lord’s Resistance Army civil war that took place in Northern Uganda. This affected mostly the Acholi and Lango sub-region socially and economically. I live with my uncle in a small village called Agwee in Gulu city. I have my mother who is married to my step farther and she has four children from her second marriage. I am a student looking forward to joining university, but I didn’t make it due to a lack of tuition.

I am also talented in many areas such as playing musical instruments like guitar, piano, and drums among others. I am a singer and a song writer too.
