I hail from Otuke district, one of the areas that faced the impact of the two-decade war between the Lord’s Resistance Army and the government. My area was also affected by the Karamojong cattle rustlers, and all our cattle were taken. Life has been a difficult journey for me as a child born in captivity, but today I can smile because I have learnt to cope up with my situation. I am currently undertaking a diploma in teaching and, God willing, I will have this completed by 2023. I am happy to be part of this program and with the knowledge gained, I look forward to changing many lives.
